Buying OR selling a home can be an incredibly exciting yet stressful time. I am here to assist and provide you with the knowledge you need to make informed decisions.
WHAT IS A HOME INSPECTION?
A home inspection is a non-invasive visual inspection performed by a trained professional to determine the safety, operation and condition of a home and its components. Potential home buyers and bank lenders often use a home inspector prior to purchase to determine if there are any costly repairs (such as a faulty foundation ) that are not visible to the untrained eye. Home inspectors are also used by home sellers and real estate agents to get a snapshot of the condition of the home and address any concerns before putting it on the market. This makes for a smooth transaction!
I prepare a comprehensive, easy-to-read report, complete with photos detailing what needs immediate attention (if any) and what would benefit from minor repairs. Your inspection report can be used not only to make your important final decisions, but also to refer to in the future for updates or repairs. Your report will be prepared and sent online through a secure link to your e-mail. The report can take a couple of days (depending on the size of the home) but typically, you will receive your report the following evening.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Set up an appointment. This is a very exciting time and it is highly encouraged that you are present for the inspection to ask me any questions as we explore your home! Review and sign a contract which outlines our agreement, privacy, exclusions, limitations, and agreed price. Payment is due the day of and prior to the inspection.
As an active member of the American Society of Home Inspectors, I strive to improve and to provide you with comprehensive reporting. Continued education is a top priority to better serve you!
